Allan Derbyshire Student Award (ADSA)

All proceeds from Film Night go to the ADSA, thank you for supporting students!

This award has been created to provide financial support to ETOL students to assist them in achieving their non-academic graduation requirements. These include: wilderness first aid, an advanced certification, and the student led Expedition II.

To be considered for this award, there is an application process. If you wish to apply, please create an application package that includes:

A formal cover letter explaining which graduation requirement you are seeking assistance with,
the cost of certification or expedition budget, and why it is important for you to you to achieve this,
A clear explanation of how this experience will fit into your future plans,
For course funding, a copy of the description and background information of the course in question (from a website for example),
For expedition funding, a detailed trip plan must be included in your application package.

Only fully and professionally completed applications will be considered.

Application for funding must be for the 2022 calendar year only.

Application is submitted through the drop box in the HPED Blackboard Site under ETOL Major in the Student Financial Aid Folder.

*Title your Application as Last Name,First Name_Allan Derbyshire Award_Year.

(ie. Bloggs,Joe_Allan Derbyshire Award_2022)

Fund allocation amounts will be contingent on the number of applications received.
